Ashmolean receives over 20,000 visitors in first weekend opening
The Ashmolean, in Oxford, reopened to the public following a a multi-million pound redevelopment on Saturday 7 November.
Ashmolean Christmas Closure: 24–26 December 2009, 1 January 2010
The formal opening of the Ashmolean Museum will take place on 2 December 2009. We are now open six days a week (excluding Monday) from 10am until 6pm. Installation of a few galleries will be continuing during the intervening weeks.
